Ha! Some of those “you had one jobs” really got my goat. Also, I’ve had that flavorwire link opened in a tab in my browser all week– I feel like Sunday is the perfect time for it, and I’m excited to read more Strayed!
I have a total girl crush on Cheryl Strayed. She’s speaking at all these wonderful conferences out West and I sooooo want her to come out this way. Or better yet, I’d like to go out THAT way.
Wow, I loved that post on motivational/inspirational articles having a way different effect than intended. Sometimes those articles are exactly what you need, but everyone deals with things differently and they’re not always helpful. What a great post.
I love the photographs of the couples and the abandoned villas! So interesting and beautiful.
Yeah, that one really resonated with me, too. Sometimes I click away from an article wondering, “Should I really feel that way?” But if it makes me uncomfortable (and not in a good, challenge myself kind of way), then it obviously wasn’t intended for me.
Those “you had one job” are so good. Makes you worry about contractors, doesn’t it. Love the sleeping couple pictures. Wonder what my night’s sleep looks like.

Oh man, some of those are on the same level of stupidity as the contractor we had at our house awhile back. Scary to think those people have licenses!
