Ha! Some of those “you had one jobs” really got my goat. Also, I’ve had that flavorwire link opened in a tab in my browser all week– I feel like Sunday is the perfect time for it, and I’m excited to read more Strayed!

    • I have a total girl crush on Cheryl Strayed. She’s speaking at all these wonderful conferences out West and I sooooo want her to come out this way. Or better yet, I’d like to go out THAT way.

  2. Wow, I loved that post on motivational/inspirational articles having a way different effect than intended. Sometimes those articles are exactly what you need, but everyone deals with things differently and they’re not always helpful. What a great post.

I love the photographs of the couples and the abandoned villas! So interesting and beautiful.

    • Yeah, that one really resonated with me, too. Sometimes I click away from an article wondering, “Should I really feel that way?” But if it makes me uncomfortable (and not in a good, challenge myself kind of way), then it obviously wasn’t intended for me.

  3. Those “you had one job” are so good. Makes you worry about contractors, doesn’t it. ;) Love the sleeping couple pictures. Wonder what my night’s sleep looks like.

    • Oh man, some of those are on the same level of stupidity as the contractor we had at our house awhile back. Scary to think those people have licenses!
