Okay, the article you shared above is the THIRD article I’ve stumbled across this weekend about living in RV’s. Must be the new thing! Such an interesting lifestyle choice. I always think to myself, “Could I do that?!”
I often wonder the same thing. I’ve fantasized about it a LOT. Bathroom cleanliness, however… well, I don’t think I could deal with that long-term, haha.
I’m looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with good friends, even though I’d rather be going home to spend the holiday with my family. I’m super thankful for my amazing friends, who let me sleep at their houses and have sobfests on their couches.
Wow! That RV thing is so fascinating and kind of brilliant! Now that I know about it, it’s kind of amazing that it took so long to catch on! Makes sense for a place like NYC though (but parking there is kind of atrocious).
Awesome links, definitely impressed with the sand filled houses and that there is a 24 hour video – I would be impressed if someone could waste a full 24 hours straight watching it. I stopped at 10 minutes, lol. I’m looking forward to making a potato pie and a caramel apple cheesecake. I like food. And wondering what my older siblings will argue about this week – should be delightful! Have a great Thanksgiving Cassie! -Iva
I spent QUITE a while watching that video, and now that song is permanently stuck in my head, haha. I’m guessing that was the point. Those foodz sound delicious. I, too, love food. 😉 You have a happy Thanksgiving too, Iva!
Oh my goodness! The colors! Portugal is the only Western European country we haven’t visited, so I’m definitely putting this on my must-visit list! Thanks!
Your blog is awesome because you put the light on historical places that we must want to visit. When we visit these places then we know about our great leaders and great places. Travel is a source of pleasure and enjoyment. I also visit many beautiful places in the world. They bring a positive change in our thinking and we feel fresh. I am very glad to learn a lot about your travel tips knowledge. Your tips are rich with a lot of useful knowledge.
Have you traveled oversees Sheila? It’s very easy to bring food back from oversees. The only exemptions are fresh produce that can carry live bugs. None of the suggestions here are a problem.
I’ve been very stressed about wanting to put curtains on my windows recently, and I really didnt want to but because of the summer sun i just had to put something up. your blog just figured out what to do about those curtains for me. Thank you so much for posting this blog and sharing the information. Definitely going to buy these blinds.
I loved my day trip to Sintra, but also got very frustrated at the combined lack of food/water options, the ease of the bus (it was an hour late to start in the morning when I arrived), and in general the lack of organization around getting people where they need to go. The systems engineer in me was having a bit of meltdown, ha.Budget Traveler
I have traveled to Paris and Italy in February. The weather is fabulous (I HATE the heat) and the crowds are MUCH less, although, admittedly, there were still PLENTY of tourists. I couldn’t imagine going to either place in June…. I’ll be traveling to Germany in March next year. I’d MUCH rather see places on a budget than save for 5 years to get that luxury room in Paris. In June. Not worth the extra money to me…..
Hi Tom, I love your blog and read it religiously! I just wanted to say that amazon workers are taking prime day to strike and protest poor working conditions and low wages. I’m supporting them by avoiding prime day and it’d be great to see folks with as much influence as you supporting that also. Thank you for reading!
Just wanted to say thank you for your presentation at the Heart of Hospitality Brunch. Our table was filled with grandmas, young mothers and singles, and all of them said how much they enjoyed your talk. You managed to be entertaining while also giving us a new way of thinking about hospitality. I am happy the bad weather was unable to keep you from us.Omio Coupons

Those are the best kinds of friends! Glad you’ve got something fun planned, even if you can’t spend the day with the family.
I am SUCH a sucker for a good typeface! Loving that Christmas card roundup. I’m tempted to send cards this year, so we’ll see if time allows.
